Should You Always Pass Along an Intuitive Hit?

Better worldIn the 2002 movie, The Mothman Prophecies, Richard Geer plays newspaper columnist John Klein. The movie is about the prophecy of the 1967 collapse of the Silver Bridge, which spanned the Ohio River connecting Point Pleasant, West Virginia and Gallipolis, Ohio.

In one scene, Gere’s character is talking to Alexander Leek, who explains why some people receive supernatural information. Leek points to a window washer who is perched near the top of a high rise building and explains that the window washer may not be brighter than anyone else, but because of his higher view he is able to see more.  Intuition is a lot like that.

As we develop and refine intuition, more information comes, more synchronicity takes place. The more we pay attention — and use the information wisely — the more we are given.  We become aware of information that others may not recognize.

This then is the question: When to speak and when not to speak?

In our excitement of receiving intuitive hits, we want to share the information, but we must remember that just because we see clearer, others may not. And the other may not appreciate the sudden insight that we believe we are destined to share with them. Sharing an intuitive insight may feel very intrusive to the other person.

Just because you have an intuitive insight does not mean you must share it. Let me repeat that. You do not have to share any intuitive insight, and you should not unless you are absolutely positive that this insight is coming from your Divine Spirit Self and not your ego self.

We must ask our intuitive self if we are to share the information we just received and share it at this time. If we are certain we are to share the insight and this is the right time – and we are certain it comes from our Divine Intuitive Self and not our ego-driven self that says look at me and what I can do – then we must share compassionately and with love and understanding of the other’s feelings.

As we develop intuition, we must also develop the understanding of its responsibility. There will come a time when we will all communicate through intuition, as many people who are close with one another do now. But until that time, we must be aware that not everyone sits on the window washer’s platform, so it is up to each of us to use discernment when conveying intuitive messages to others.
